I wanted to simply express the moment when the world touched me.
I wanted to express what I would have felt before I understood it.
I had a small operation and was in the hospital.
In the hospital room, there were people who struggled with illness and still desperately lived.
There was life itself more than people.
I wanted to express life itself, which has the body and mass of myself.
I wanted to create a pure, joyful celebration before recognition.
- I made my artworks while walking across the Pyrenees from France to Spain. After that I went to Tunisia and also made in the Sahara Desert. Then I exhibited the works, and photos of works I couldn't bring back, and photos of works in progress at the San Terenzo castle.
